Lyrics for the weekend warriors
Poor Monday. There are many songs and lyrics on it. But neither is very flattering. Tuesday has received recognition minor in the songs and lyrics. And on Wednesday and Thursday are virtually forgotten. But on Friday and the weekend? They are the darlings of the songs and lyrics. Judging by the number of songs on the weekends, including famous musicians and bands expect them – or remember his days leading to fame when the weekend was the line of its obstacle course through the week, and pay tribute to them in his lyrics.
"Just Got Paid (Friday Night)" country singer Johnny Kemp is an upbeat song with the lyrics hold that the opening night of the weekend is all about: hitting the town, spilling the person office, and cut loose. Some of these good-time lyrics are, "Just Got Paid, Friday night / party right huntin ', feelin' / Body shakin 'Nobody everywhere / think when I'm Gettin' Down ".
Rock band Loverboy loves weekends – not only wrote one, but two songs with lyrics about those three magical days. First comes "Friday Night" with the lyrics, "Friday night, Friday night / I just received payment, No Sleep 'Til Monday and Friday night, Friday night / Who cares, it's only money. "He also wrote the hymn with final point about why people bother to work hard during the week: "Working for the weekend." reached No. 2 on the charts with his agitation, power-pop music and the lyrics universal, "Everyone is working for the weekend / Everybody wants a little romance / Everybody 's Goin' down the walls / Everybody needs a second chance. "
Remember that the Bay City Rollers? The Scottish boy band won first # 1 smash hit U.S. The year of the Bicentennial in 1976 with "Saturday Night" and its wake, singing lyrics, "Saturday Night ….!" Delivered with the enthusiasm of a cheerleading squad, the simple, two letters of the word perfectly captured the anticipation of the weekend, and the excitement of arrival.
For the lyrics of Elton John, writer, Bernie Taupin, Saturday night was about to blow off steam in a different way – some courage by high fluid intake, and put the Dukes. He wrote the lyrics of "Saturday Night's Alright (For Fighting)," on his teenage years in bars British, where the fights were nothing unusual: "They give us nothing of your aggravation / We had your discipline / Saturday night to fight it / Get a little action in "
Domingo has his share of admirers, too. He paid tribute to the Queen with the bubbly lyrics Campy and music of "relaxing in the afternoon on Sunday." The tune bounces along as part of an operetta, and includes the lyric, "I will work in the morning Monday and Tuesday I will honeymoon / I'll be back before it is time to sunnydown / I'll be resting on a Sunday afternoon. "The lyrics, which sound like being played on a gramophone old, were fed from the studio where Freddie Mercury was singing through a tin bucket in another study.
One of the most famous songs is entitled Bangles, "Manic Monday", but the lyrics are really all about how much they enjoy Sunday: "Its just another Monday manic / wish it was Sunday / Because that's my fun day / My me-not-have-to run the day. "Prince, who apparently is a big fan of Sundays, actually wrote the music and lyrics – and the song became the first success of the Bangles.
Sorry, on Monday. When These letters are not there many other good of you. But, hey – it's better to be vile than to be ignored, right?
