mind if i copy a response I gave to someone else? cuz I have fought this argument more than once:) If I had to pick one particular band that had an effect on me (As a couple I do) I have to say the day. Green One of the requirements to be my favorite band, is that it must be a career band. And Green Day is, without doubt. They humble beginnings, burst into the mainstream, had some time with your music, then started a musical revolution. It is much more than Billie, Mike and Tre as the people who inspire me. They started as a group of kids in high school, and have now grown up … and write about things that are important. They live what they speak. Not just complain about the society, but are proactive in this regard. And I am honored to meet with Billie, Mike and Tre through his music. because that is his voice speaking to me. In the day of singles instead of albums, it's ridiculous how people are looking for the next new and better things. They have forgotten how to perform close to his heart classics and new songs. I guess people just do not like change. I mean … can not wait Billie, Mike and Tre be putting out the same things they did when they were 18 years now when they are 37. They have grown and matured. Do not stay with the music that worked for them to obtain large for the first time. They are true musicians whose music grows with them. Unfortunately they are criticized for it. I do not know why. So sorry. I have no answer your question because I have to wonder. I do not understand it.
